Grafton Veterans Memorial

A large-scale planning study completed in 2019 suggested the redesign of a five-point intersection in the heart of the village for improved safety and circulation. The realignment of Elm and Willow Streets where they connect with Main Street created new open space between them, just right for the development of a memorial park for the village's many residents who served in the armed forces. Boulevard Studios took on the conceptual design phases through construction documentation, meeting regularly with the local VFW as well as with village officials to create a place for somber remembrance and ceremony. Circular pathways connect memorial plaques, a refurbished cannon, and flagpoles representing each branch of the armed forces.
